Overview

On completion of the BWF Fire Door Installation Awareness course, candidates can then progress on to the achievement of the relevant National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) unit for the installation of fire doors.

NVQ UNIT : INSTALLING FIRE RESISTING TIMBER DOOR ASSEMBLIES AND DOORSETS IN THE WORKPLACE

The aim of this unit is to illustrate the skills, knowledge and understanding required to confirm competence in Installing Fire Resisting Timber Door Assemblies and Doorsets in the Workplace within the relevant sector of industry.

A construction NVQ is a benchmark qualification based on NOS National Occupational Standard and proves your occupational competence and can be endorsed onto a CSCS card.

Qualification costs from £695.00 plus vat per candidate

This qualification is eligible for CITB Employer Network funding. If eligible CITB will fund 70% of costs.
